China Post Opens first self-operated intercontinental route connecting Nanjing and Luxembourg

TapTechNews reported on June 29th that according to the official news of China Post, at 2 am on June 26th, the Boeing 777 all-cargo aircraft of China Post Airlines fully loaded with mails and goods flew from Nanjing Lukou International Airport in Jiangsu to Findel International Airport in Luxembourg, marking the official opening of China Post's first self-operated intercontinental route.

TapTechNews learned that currently, China Post Airlines has a 60-person B777F pilot team to ensure the Nanjing-Luxembourg route, among which the weather is the biggest uncertainty , and it takes 9,300 miles (about 15,000 kilometers) from Nanjing to Luxembourg, and it is expected to take 12 hours. After the opening of the route, it will cover 36 countries in Europe, and the total transportation time limit for major countries and regions will be shortened to 4-7 days.

China Post stated that in the future, China Post will also successively open intercontinental routes to Australia and the United States, gradually build an independent international air network covering Europe, Oceania, and North America, and help Chinese manufacturing and Chinese brands go global, and continue to make efforts in serving the high-quality development of China's aviation logistics industry and export-oriented economy.

At 18:00 Beijing time on June 28th, the CF256 postal cargo flight flew from Findel International Airport in Luxembourg to China, and after about 11 hours of flight, it landed safely at Nanjing Lukou International Airport at 4:17 Beijing time on June 29th, and the round-trip intercontinental air cargo passage was officially opened.
