MonsterHunterWilds Latest Installment Under Development,Release in 2025

TapTechNews June 29th news, MonsterHunterWilds, the latest installment of the MonsterHunter series, is currently under development and slated for release in 2025.

Capcom officially announced that the third official trailer of MonsterHunterWilds will be revealed during the opening night of Gamescom on August 21st. Previously, Ryozo Tsujimoto said that the game will also offer the first playable demo during Gamescom.

As TapTechNews knows, MonsterHunterWilds was initially announced at TGA 2023 and is planned to land on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025, supporting cross-platform play. Capcom also stated that this installment will bring a brand-new and ultimate hunting action game experience.

Ryozo Tsujimoto had previously revealed that the biology and ecology of MonsterHunterWilds will reach a totally new height, and the development team will also strive to maximize the performance of PS5.

Previously, there were also leaks that Capcom had initiated the development work of MonsterHunterWilds in 2019, meaning this game has been brewing in Capcom's development laboratory for 6 years.

Golem said that the game producer gives complete freedom to the development of MonsterHunterWilds, suggesting that this game will contain many of the abandoned ideas and gameplay from MonsterHunter: World before.
