Ubisoft Reveals Details of New 'Assassin's Creed Shadow'

TapTechNews reported on May 14th that Ubisoft's long-awaited new Assassin's Creed game set in feudal Japan, codenamed 'Red', has been officially named 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' and is now available to wishlist. The official YouTube page leaked that the first trailer for the game will be released at midnight on May 16th with a official launch date of November 15th. According to PlayStationGameSize, the trailer is 3 minutes and 49 seconds long. Dataminer Frax revealed that the Season Pass for 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' is priced at $40 (approximately 290 RMB), which includes two $25 (approximately 181 RMB) expansion packs and some in-game currency called Helix. Season Pass players can also enjoy a special mission called 'Origami Killer' and the ultimate edition of the game will provide players with five 'skill points' and a pre-order reward called 'Throw to the Dog'. According to previous leaks, 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' has upgraded the 'AnvilPipeline' engine, with improvements made to animations, parkour systems, dynamic weather, and more. The 'AnvilPipeline' engine is said to better support visual effects such as ray tracing, global illumination, and Virtual Geometry. There are also reports that the combat system in 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' is similar to 'Assassin's Creed: Valhalla', but with more bloody scenes like bloodshed and beheadings. In addition, 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' also features stealth, the ability to create 'hideouts' (settlement points), and the construction of functional buildings such as arsenals, dojos, and churches.
