TapTechNews May 14th - Tech media iMore recently published an article stating that the new Apple iPad Pro using OLED panels has rendering issues when processing certain blue HDR content.
They found that the new iPad Pro displays white in the highlight parts when presenting blue HDR content, which can be reproduced in the form of compressed artifacts.
iMore mentioned that this issue only occurs in 'very specific circumstances' and is not visible on other OLED devices like the iPhone 15 Pro. In most cases, this issue is hard to notice and has no clear cause. TapTechNews has included more images below:
Apple informed iMore that the company is aware of this issue and is developing a software update to address it.
