Anhui Launches Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Medical Supply Transport Routes

TapTechNews on May 17th reported that according to the official WeChat account 'Anhui Transport Management', Hefei, Anhui has recently launched the first batch of unmanned aerial vehicle medical supply transport routes in the province, mainly used to transport test samples, plasma and other supplies.

It is introduced that the relevant unmanned aerial vehicle routes are operated by Xunyi Technology, which can shorten the journey that usually takes dozens of minutes by car to within a few minutes, ensuring that the medical materials urgently needed by doctors and patients can be delivered in time and avoiding the risk of patients waiting.

TapTechNews learned that currently, a total of 4 locations including the (main part) of Anhui Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the (east part) of Anhui Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the (west part) of Anhui Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and the Provincial Blood Center, as well as 6 routes back and forth between each location, can transport emergency medical supplies such as plasma. The shortest distance of the route is 4.1 miles (6.6 kilometers), and the time is 8 minutes; the longest distance is 13.2 miles (21.2 kilometers), and the time is 25 minutes. At present, the relevant routes have transported medical supplies nearly 50 times.
