Leapmotor A12 Spied Interior Revealed, Product Strategy and More

It can be seen from the picture that the vehicle infotainment system UI of the new car is basically the same as that of the Leapmotor C10, and it continues to adopt a horizontal screen design scheme, but there are adjustments in the position of the armrest box and the wireless charging panel.

For reference, the Leapmotor C10 adopts a suspended 14.6 inches 2.5K central control screen + 10.25 inches full LCD instrument panel design, instead of the triple screen of other Leapmotor models before. In addition, the car is equipped with a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, an electronic gear selector and hidden air outlets, and provides wireless charging for mobile phones, a fatigue driving monitoring camera, rear air conditioning outlets, etc.

In terms of appearance, the Leapmotor A12 is still relatively close to the Leapmotor C10, and the overall shape is relatively rounded. It is expected to be positioned as a compact SUV. According to the current product layout of Leapmotor, the new car is expected to provide two power options: pure electric and range-extended.

It is worth mentioning that Zhu Jiangming, the founder of Leapmotor, clearly stated in an interview that Leapmotor's strategy is to release products of four series by 2026. The C series focuses on the 150,000 yuan level. The A series will be released next year and focuses on the 100,000 yuan level, the D series will be released in 2026 and focuses on the 200,000 yuan level, and the T series mainly for overseas. Then the entire product matrix will be complete.

Zhu Jiangming also revealed: For the A-class car to be mass-produced next year, we also hope to have lidar and high-level intelligent driving.
