Unlocking requires secondary verification

If someone else uses your locked App, when the other party tries to open the application, they will see a popup window showing that it cannot be accessed without secondary verification.

Locking App is very simple

The way to lock an App is also very simple. Users just need to long-press the application and select the 'Require FaceID' option (TouchID on iPhone SE), and they can lock the App.

Range of locked Apps

Not all applications can be locked. Apple does not provide an option for harmless applications such as Maps, Clock, Calculator, and Stocks, but almost all other applications including third-party ones can be locked.

Hiding App

TapTechNews note: In addition to a user locking an application, they can also choose to hide it, so that it can be moved to a locked hidden application folder and requires verification to open.

Locked or hidden applications are not only unable to be opened, but also hidden in searches, notifications, and other places throughout the operating system.

Enabling locking for an application can also show applications that can access the application, such as applications that can write pictures to the Photos application.

Hiding an application means you will not receive calls or notifications from that application and can only access it from the 'Hidden' folder in the App Library.
