NIO and GAC Energy Announce Charging Network Interconnection

According to TapTechNews on June 7th, NIO officially announced today that NIO Energy and GAC Energy have officially reached a cooperation on the interconnection of charging networks. They will establish a dynamic data sharing between charging platforms to achieve two-way interconnection of charging facilities.

This cooperation is the first landing project after NIO and GAC Group signed a strategic cooperation on charging and battery swapping on May 8th, which will provide both parties' users with a 'widely covered, efficiently queried, and conveniently used' charging service.

TapTechNews noted that NIO has successively reached cooperation on the interconnection of charging networks with brands such as Geely Automobile Group, Jiyue, SAIC-GM, Deep Blue, and IM Motors. In addition, NIO has reached battery swapping cooperation agreements with FAW Group, GAC Group, Changan Automobile, Geely Holding, Chery Automobile, Jianghuai Automobile Group, and Lotus.
