ProtonPass has covered mainstream platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and iPadOS, as well as ChromeOS (supported through Android applications).

As a companion product of the ProtonPass macOS application, Proton simultaneously launched an independent native Safari browser extension. Unlike Safari's default password manager, ProtonPass allows synchronous login information between multiple different browsers and devices to ensure consistent access on all platforms.

The Linux version of ProtonPass supports all Debian- and RedHat-based distributions, including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and CentOS, etc.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, this software was officially launched in June 2023. Compared with other mainstream password managers, this software enables end-to-end encryption for all fields including user names and URLs.
