In the WWDC 2024 programming video released by Apple last week, it demonstrated the tools for adding cat paw prints and other animal-related symbols in the drawing of iPadOS 18 applications. The custom tools support the functions of the new Apple Pencil Pro, including pinch gesture and scrolling actions.

TapTechNews queried Apple-related materials. In addition to the custom tools, applications on iPadOS 18, iOS 18, and visionOS 2 can also change the default drawing tools that appear in the system tool selector.

Apple stated that applications can even provide multiple tools of the same type, such as two-color fountain pens or two-color markers, to increase convenience.
