Apple Releases iOS 17.6 Public Beta 1 Update

TapTechNews June 21st news, Apple today pushed the iOS 17.6 Public Beta 1 update (internal version number: 21G5052e) to iPhone users, and this update is 3 days apart from the corresponding developer test version.

Apple usually runs two separate test cycles every summer, one for the major new iOS update that is launched in the fall, and the other is usually the last revision of the previous year's update, and this year is the same.

iPhone users can currently choose one of the iOS 18 and iOS 17.6 developer test versions, and only one can be run at the same time, so most beta users might choose iOS 18.

Fixes incorrect values of videoRotationAngleForHorizonLevelCapture and videoRotationAngleForHorizonLevelPreview returned by AVCaptureDeviceRotationCoordinator when using the front camera on iPad Air (6th generation) and iPad Pro (7th generation).

The last important version of iOS 17, that is, the 17.5 version last month, introduced new Pride wallpaper, Quartiles game for News+ users, offline Apple News content, and opening application network distribution for the EU market, etc.
