China Telecom's 2024 Half-Year Financial Report and July Operating Data

Revenue was 265.973 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year;
Net profit attributable to shareholders was 21.812 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year;
Basic earnings per share was 0.24 yuan, and it plans to distribute a dividend of 0.1671 yuan per share to all shareholders.
In the first half of this year, the revenue of China Telecom's mobile communication services reached 105.2 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue of mobile value-added and applications reached 18.1 billion yuan, an increase of 17.1% year-on-year. The number of mobile users increased by 9.08 million net, and the user scale reached 417 million, and the ARPU of mobile users reached 46.3 US dollars.
In addition, the revenue of China Telecom's fixed network and smart home services reached 64 billion yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 3.2% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue of smart home business reached 10.7 billion yuan, an increase of 14.4% year-on-year. The number of broadband users increased by 3.19 million net, reaching 193 million, and the comprehensive ARPU of broadband reached 48.3 US dollars.
In the first half of 2024, the revenue of China Telecom's industrial digitalization reached 73.7 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year, accounting for 30.0% of service revenue, an increase of 0.8 percentage points. The revenue of Tianyi Cloud reached 55.2 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%.
