NetEase Games Restricts Playtime for Minors During Dragon Boat Festival

According to TapTechNews on June 5th, NetEase Games today released the notice on restricting playtime for minors during the 2024 Dragon Boat Festival holiday. The notice stipulates the following regulations on the playing time of NetEase Games for minor players:

June 7th (Friday)

June 8th to June 10th (Dragon Boat Festival holiday)

Time

They can experience the game from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the above dates.

TapTechNews reported earlier that Tencent Games also previously released a calendar for restricting playtime for minors. Except for June 7th-10th and weekdays, minors are unable to log in to the game, which is the prohibited playing period.

In August 2021, the National Press and Publication Administration issued a notice strictly limiting the time of providing online game services to minors. All online game enterprises can only provide minors with 1 hour of service from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays. At other times, they cannot provide online game services to minors in any form.
