Boeing's Starliner Manned Test Flight

TapTechNews June 5th news, at 10:52 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Boeing's Starliner was launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida to carry out its first manned test flight mission, carrying two NASA astronauts to the International Space Station.

According to the previous TapTechNews report, Boeing's Starliner was originally scheduled to be launched on June 1, but when there were only 3 minutes and 50 seconds left from the planned lift-off, the rocket's computer initiated the pause program.

This mission belongs to the first manned flight test of Starliner, and Starliner will then take the ULAAtlasV rocket to send NASA astronauts Butch Willmore and Sunni Williams to the International Space Station and stay for about a week.

So far, Boeing has lost 1.5 billion US dollars (Note by TapTechNews: currently about 10.875 billion Chinese yuan) due to the setbacks of Starliner, as well as nearly 50 billion US dollars (currently about 36.25 billion Chinese yuan) of NASA's development funds.
