Geely and Baidu's Jiyue 07 Battery and Range Details Revealed

TapTechNews on June 3, it was recently announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the battery and range information of Jiyue 07 has been revealed. This pure electric midsize sedan offers two battery packs of 71.4 kWh and 100 kWh, and the pure electric range里程 as per the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is divided into three types: 660 kilometers, 770 kilometers, and 880 kilometers.

Jiyue brand is jointly created by Geely Holding Group and Baidu Group. The first model under it, Jiyue 01, is a midsize and large SUV, while Jiyue 07 is its second mass-produced model.

TapTechNews noticed that Jiyue 07 inherits the family-style design of Jiyue 01, with the front featuring a closed air intake grille and a U-shaped daytime running light strip, equipped with dual lidar and intelligent AI pixel headlights, as well as in-car and out-car voice functions and pure vision advanced intelligent driving technology. In terms of body design, Jiyue 07 adopts a hatchback design, with handleless electric induction doors and a liftable sports rear wing. The body dimensions are 4953/1989/1475 millimeters (about 194.96/78.31/58.11 inches), and the wheelbase is 3013 millimeters (about 118.62 inches). Compared to Zeekr 007, the size of Jiyue 07 is more spacious.

In terms of the power system, Jiyue 07 is equipped with an electric motor provided by Weirui Electric Vehicle Technology (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. The high-end model is a dual-motor, and the standard version is a single-motor. The peak power of the single-motor is 200 kilowatts (about 268.22 horsepower). In terms of battery configuration, the 71.4 kWh battery model of Jiyue 07 has a pure electric range里程 of 660 kilometers (about 410.10 miles) as per the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, while the 100 kWh battery model has two range choices of 770 kilometers (about 478.52 miles, four-wheel drive) and 880 kilometers (about 546.81 miles, rear-wheel drive).
