Adobe to Add Image Generation Functions to Acrobat with FireflyImage3

TapTechNews June 18th news, Adobe announced in a press release yesterday (June 17th) that it will start later this week to add image generation functions to its Acrobat application through Adobe's FireflyImage3 model.

Adobe said that the Acrobat application will introduce a brand new "GenerateImage" function. Users can select a certain section of content in a PDF file and call on the AI to generate an image, and in addition, users can also adjust the style and size of the generated image to make it more in line with the entire PDF document content.

The new version of Adobe Acrobat application also introduces the "EditImage" function, using the FireflyAI model to generate functions such as filling, background removal, erasing, and cropping.

TapTechNews also learned from the report that in addition to enhancing the text-to-image function of the Acrobat application, Adobe further integrates AI functions, including finding specific themes and trends for users from many documents and sources. Users can drag all the content into the Acrobat AI assistant, and the assistant can format this information to achieve adding citations, marking the source of information, and so on.
