Since the beginning of 2024, Apple and its Chinese distributors have been lowering prices, and these preferential measures will continue until the upcoming 618 e-commerce shopping festival. Bloomberg analysts believe that as consumers show a higher interest in replacing devices in a recent survey, the downward trend of the iPhone in the Chinese market may be coming to an end soon.

Analysts Steven Tseng and Sean Chen wrote: Our latest survey shows that Apple has once again become the favorite smartphone brand among Chinese consumers after being replaced by Huawei, and the shrinking market share of the iPhone in China may soon stabilize. We believe that the reversal of user interest may stem from the high-end trend in the Chinese market, which is further amplified when consumers feel tired after waiting for a long time for Huawei's high-end models. More than half of the respondents said they are willing to spend more than $600 (approx. 4000 yuan) on their next phone, while currently only 33% of users use high-end phones.
