On May 12, TapTechNews reported that the Chery Tiggo 8L model has appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. This model features a new exterior design, with an extended body size compared to the Tiggo 8, and options for 18/19/20-inch wheels. Currently, the Tiggo 8 is priced between approximately $14,000 and $24,000 USD.
In terms of interior, the new car offers both 5-seater and 7-seater options. References to the Tiggo 8 suggest that the new car may come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, adjustable ambient lighting, and a large panoramic sunroof.
Specs-wise, the new car is powered by a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 187 kW. Its dimensions are 4795x1930x1729 (1741) mm, with a wheelbase of 2770 mm. Compared to the Tiggo 8, the new model is 95 mm longer and has a 60 mm longer wheelbase. For reference, the Tiggo 8 measures 4700/1860/1746 mm with a wheelbase of 2710 mm.
