Google to Introduce CreativeAssistant in Pixel 9 Series

TapTechNews on June 20th, a blog post by the tech media AndroidAuthority today indicated that Google plans to introduce the CreativeAssistant feature in the Pixel 9 series of phones, similar to Genmoji in Apple's iOS 18 system, allowing users to customize Emojis through AI.

TapTechNews quoted the media report that CreativeAssistant is an exclusive app for Pixel phones, and its software package name is com.google.android.apps.pixel.creativeassistant.

Google has currently mentioned this application program in the TPU installation file of the Tensor chip and the code of the GoogleMarkup application program in Android 15 Beta 3.

In the code, a button named remix is displayed, indicating that users can generate Emoji expressions with the help of AI. It is still not clear whether this AI function runs locally or depends on cloud processing. However, the previous news said that the Pixel 9 series phones will be equipped with a coprocessor that supports GeminiNano, which can handle various small generation tasks locally.
