JD Logistics Achieved Record-high Q1 Financial Performance in 2024

TapTechNews May 16th report, JD Logistics released its Q1 2024 financial report today. The data shows that JD Logistics' revenue reached 42.14 billion yuan this quarter, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%. The adjusted net profit was 660 million yuan, and the core profit indicators reached the best level since its listing, with a net profit of 2.384 billion yuan.

The official statement mentioned that this quarter provided integrated supply chain services with a multi-channel one-plate mode for a leading domestic home appliance customer, providing services such as '1-hour uncollected compensation' and night collection in multiple cities nationwide. As of March 31st, its storage network covers almost all counties in the country, including more than 1,600 self-operated warehouses and more than 2,000 third-party warehouses operated by owners on the cloud warehouse ecosystem. The total management area of the storage network exceeds 32 million square meters.

According to previous reports by TapTechNews, JD Logistics announced the upgrade of 'JD Express' this month, adding a 'overtime refund' label. In simple terms, when consumers choose 'JD Express' to send express delivery and transport by air, if the actual arrival time of the express delivery is later than the time displayed on the order page, JD Express customer service will actively call the consumer to compensate for the freight, even if the express delivery is only one minute late.

Also this month, JD Logistics upgraded the time efficiency of more than 10 express routes from Wuhan to Zhengzhou, Changsha, Zhuzhou, Hengyang, Nanchang, etc., with the shipping time efficiency in multiple provinces in central China upgraded to next-day delivery.
