Google Launches PixelStudio Image Generation App for Pixel 9 Series

TapTechNews August 14th news, at the Pixel 9 series mobile phone launch event held by Google today, a全新 image generation application named PixelStudio was launched and it was stated that it will be pre-installed on every Pixel 9 series mobile phone.

Users can input prompt words in the PixelStudio application to request it to generate pictures. The Google PixelStudio application runs and generates locally, based on Google's own Imagen3 model, mainly generating pictures in artistic styles, while the effect of realistic style pictures is relatively poor.

Once a set of pictures is generated, the chat robot interface does not provide any editing functions. However, Google also announced improvements to the Gemini overlay function today, which can directly drag and drop AI-generated pictures into emails or chats.

Just a few weeks before the PixelStudio application was launched, Apple just released its own iPhone AI image generator. The application is named ImagePlayground and is expected to be launched along with other AppleIntelligence functions, competing with other functions of Google Gemini.
