This earphone is equipped with the new-generation Tensor A1 chip, supporting more accurate position tracking and Bluetooth 5.4. Google says this is the first Tensor chip specifically designed for earphones, with the active noise reduction effect being twice as good as before and having a wider noise reduction frequency range, which can better eliminate high-frequency noise.

According to the data provided by Google, the battery life can reach 12 hours when ANC is off (48 hours with the charging case), and it is expected to be usable for 8 hours/30 hours when ANC is on. It also supports fast charging, charging for 5 minutes, and enjoying 1.5 hours of playback (with ANC off).

In other aspects, this earphone is basically the same as the Pixel Buds Pro, equipped with an 11mm driver and a new high-frequency sound cavity to achieve smooth treble. Thanks to the new dedicated discrete audio signal supported by Tensor A1, it can provide pure and pure sound, which means it can achieve higher audio fidelity.

In addition, Google has also added a conversation detection function, which can judge when you are speaking and automatically switch to the transparent mode; and when you finish chatting, it will switch back to the ANC mode.
