He previously disclosed that the iPhone 16Pro will eliminate all physical buttons, while the existing button positions remain unchanged and still protrude, reducing the number of openings on the bezel, and the way to power off is still the combination of the power button and volume buttons.

The blogger also stated that the experience after removing the physical buttons is similar to that of Apple's ApplePencilPro (TapTechNews note: ApplePencilPro supports pinch pressure sensing (squeezing the pen body) to bring up small tools).

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Taiwan media said that ASE Technology Holding has won the Apple order and exclusively obtained the new capacitive buttons system-in-package (SiP) module order on both sides of the new body for this year's all-new design for the iPhone 16 series to replace the existing physical buttons, which also confirms this revelation.

Apple has been constantly striving to eliminate all physical buttons. Since the iPhone 7, Apple has used capacitive components to replace the traditional Home button. When users press the capacitive home button, the phone simulates through the vibration of the motor to achieve the realistic effect.
