Jiangling E Luda Extended-Range Electric Light Truck Debuts with Impressive Features
TapTechNews May 24th news, at the recent Jiangling New Energy Light Truck test drive experience event, the Jiangling E Luda extended-range electric light truck debuted at the event site, claiming to be the 'first large-capacity extended-range light truck in the industry'.
According to the introduction, the Jiangling E Luda extended-range version light truck adopts a mid-mounted integrated electric pack design platform and a 70-liter fuel tank. The maximum pure electric range with full load is 140 kilometers, and the total range with full fuel and electricity can reach 750 kilometers.
This vehicle is equipped with two power modes, pure electric and extended-range, for users to choose. Users can choose the pure electric mode in short-distance transportation, which is more economical and cost-effective; in long-distance transportation, they can choose the extended-range mode, and users no longer need to rely on charging piles.
TapTechNews noticed that the Jiangling E Luda extended-range version is standard with a water-cooled battery pack. The official measured that it takes 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%; when driving in the pure electric state, the cost per kilometer is at least 0.3 US dollars, and the cost per kilometer in the extended-range mode is at least 0.7 US dollars. The vehicle usage cost is claimed to be 'one-half' of that of the same-level fuel light truck.
The Jiangling Lexing E Luda extended-range version is equipped with all kinds of cargo compartments such as containers, pallets, warehouses, and refrigerated ones, and is fully applied to all scenarios such as supermarkets, bulk goods, express delivery, freight forwarding, building materials and home furnishing, and other various logistics distributions.
In terms of control strategy, the Jiangling E Luda extended-range version realizes intelligent energy management of the whole vehicle through the AI algorithm instead of the traditional fixed-point working mode. The system automatically recognizes the vehicle speed, accelerator pedal depth, road slope, ambient temperature, and vehicle acceleration information to match the best working strategy of the extended-range system, claiming to achieve a '6% reduction' in energy consumption of the whole vehicle.
