TapTechNews May 12th news, recently, the Changan Mazda EZ-6 renderings have been released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This car is a new energy medium-sized sedan jointly developed by Mazda and Changan, offering two power systems: pure electric and range extender.
The Changan Mazda EZ-6 model has a length, width, and height of 4921/1890/1485 millimeters, with a wheelbase of 2895 millimeters, and offers two styles of 19-inch wheels. The new car adopts Mazda's family-style front face design, popular hidden door handles and frameless doors on the side, and a through-type taillight design at the rear.
In terms of power, the Changan Mazda EZ-6 pure electric model is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 190 kilowatts and a phosphate iron lithium battery; the range extender model is equipped with a 1.5-liter range extender with a maximum power of 70 kilowatts and a motor peak power of 160 kilowatts.
The Changan Mazda EZ-6 model has already appeared at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, with a cabin equipped with a full LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch floating central control screen, and a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Depending on the version, the car also offers Sony sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, zero-gravity seats, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and other configurations.
