TapTechNews August 13th news, Shenzhen Zhongruan Yingke Technology Co., Ltd.'s GPD brand has newly launched the Pocket4 handheld "AIPC", taking the lead in equipping with AMD's RyzenAI 300 "Strix" chip, and the company also announced the benchmark test results of Radeon 890M iGPU and Intel Arc 140V "Xe2" iGPU.
GPDPocket4 adopts an 8.8-inch IPS panel on the front, with a resolution of 2560x1600 (WQXGA), a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, an aspect ratio of 16:10, a pixel density of 343 PPI, and a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m2.

TapTechNews note: The GPD Pocket4 handheld device adopts the top-level AMD RyzenAI 9HX370 APU, which contains 12 cores based on the Zen5 architecture, 16 iGPU cores based on the RDNA3.5 graphics architecture and a 50 TOPS NPU, with a rated power of 20-28W. It is also equipped with up to 64GB of LPDDR5-7500 memory, and the storage space includes a Gen4x4 M.2 slot that can provide a capacity of up to 4TB.
In the graphics test, the company compared the performance of Radeon 890M iGPU with that of Intel Arc 140V (installed on Core i7 268V). The TDP of both chips is 45W, and in comparison, the performance of 890M is 6% higher.
