TapTechNews May 21 news, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced today the fifth batch of the Catalog of New Energy Automobile Models with Exempted Vehicle Purchase Tax, including star models such as BYD Denza Z9GT, BYD Denza N7, Li Auto MEGA, and Anhui Volkswagen ID.7 VIZZION.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 383rd batch of the Announcement of New Products of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products. The figure of the plug-in hybrid version of the Denza Z9GT model appeared, and the pure electric version has already been unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show.

The declared information shows that the length, width and height of this new car are 170.7/78.3/59.1 (58.3) inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 122.6 inches. It is 0.6 inches longer than the pure electric version, and the others remain the same. This car is standard with a panoramic sunroof and an electric rear spoiler, and can optionally be equipped with three lidar, brake calipers of different colors, rims, carbon fiber decorative parts of the front/rear bumpers, and air suspension, etc.

In terms of power, the plug-in hybrid version of the Denza Z9GT is equipped with a power system composed of a 2.0T engine and three drive motors. The maximum power of the 2.0T engine is 152 kilowatts, the maximum power of the front motor is 200 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the two drive motors on the left and right rear is 220 kilowatts each.

TapTechNews learned from the information previously announced by the official that BYD Denza Z9GT will hold a technical conference in May, and the new car is expected to go on the market in the middle of the year. It is not yet clear whether the plug-in hybrid version will be sold together with the pure electric version.
