Samsung Developing Exynos 1580 Chip for Next Year's Galaxy A56

TapTechNews July 3rd, GalaxyClub, a Dutch technology media, posted a blog yesterday, stating that Samsung is developing the Exynos 1580 chip, with the internal code name of Santa, and it will be equipped in the Galaxy A56 phone to be released next year.

Samsung released the Galaxy A55 phone in March this year, which uses its own Exynos 1480 chip. The code name of this chip is Rose, and its model is S5E8845. It is the first mid-range chip of Samsung to carry an AMD GPU.

The code name of Exynos 1580 is Santa, and its model is S5E8855. At present, it is not clear how much performance improvement this chip will specifically bring.
