'Borderlands' Movie Released in North America with Poor Start

The movie plot summary of 'Borderlands' is as follows:

Lilith (Cate Blanchett) is a notorious fugitive with a mysterious past who reluctantly returns to her home planet of Pandora to search for the missing daughter of the most powerful asshole in the universe, Atlas.

Lilith forms an alliance with an unexpected team - Roland (Kevin Hart), a former elite mercenary now eager for redemption;

Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a wild underage demolisher;

Krieg (Florian Munteanu), a muscular and sharp-tongued protector;

Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), a weak-minded scientist;

and Claptrap (Jack Black) , a stubborn and self-righteous robot.

These unlikely heroes must fight against alien monsters and dangerous bandits to find and protect the missing girl as she may hold the key to unimaginable power. The fate of the universe may be in their hands, but they are fighting for more than that: each other.
