The Hisense Egypt TV factory project covers an area of approximately 13.3 hectares (about 200 Chinese mu), and is expected to go into operation next year. In addition to meeting local needs in Egypt, it will also be exported to 21 countries and regions including the Arab League, North Africa, and East Africa, and gradually expand to West Africa, the European Union, and the Americas.

TapTechNews learned from the official that in 2023, Hisense's overseas revenue was 85.8 billion yuan, accounting for 42.5% of the total revenue, and it has 34 industrial parks and production bases and 26 R & D centers around the world.

According to the introduction, Hisense has become a household name on the African continent, and its main home appliance products have a leading market share in markets such as South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, and Algeria.

The Egyptian government stated in the statement that this project is in line with the goals of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, which helps to establish new partnerships and strengthen industrial localization.
