Xiaomi's Automotive Unit Sees Increased Demand for SU7 Model

The demand for Xiaomi SU7 has increased by about 80%, with one type of component increasing from about 10,000 sets per month to over 18,000 sets recently. On May 9, blogger @孙少军 revealed that Xiaomi's SU7 has received over 100,000 orders. Xiaomi's first model, SU7, was officially launched on March 28, with prices starting at 215,900 RMB, including the SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max versions. Official data shows that the car had over 10,000 pre-orders in 4 minutes, 20,000 in 7 minutes, 50,000 in 27 minutes, and a total of 88,898 in 24 hours. On May 1, Xiaomi announced that the April delivery volume of SU7 reached 7,058 units (first delivery on April 3), and the total order volume reached 88,063 units. As of the time of writing, Xiaomi SU7 standard version is expected to be delivered in 29-32 weeks after the order is placed, SU7 Pro in 30-33 weeks, and SU7 Max in 33-36 weeks.
