Tesla's New Robotaxi and Model 3 Updates

TapTechNews on May 21st, the official Tesla account posted a promotional video on the X platform, aiming to encourage company shareholders to vote in favor of Elon Musk's $55 billion compensation package and to move the company's registration to Texas. One scene in the video might have shown the interior situation of the Robotaxi.

In the video, many people pointed out a shot of the vehicle interior, which doesn't match any product Tesla has released so far:

The picture shows what seems to be a two-seater car without a steering wheel, and the central display is similar to that of current Tesla vehicles.

The seats are different from modern cars and are closer to those in public transportation (such as trains):

Elon Musk said that the Robotaxi Cybercab will be released on August 8th. He stated on the social platform that one of the reasons for choosing August 8th to release the Tesla self-driving taxi robotaxi is that this date is considered an auspicious number in China.

TapTechNews previously reported that a suspected modified Tesla Model 3 test vehicle appeared in Palo Alto, California. As can be seen from the photos circulated on the social media platform X, this new Model 3 removed the traditional side mirrors and replaced them with a unique set of camera systems.

The camera on the front fender of the new Model 3 seems to have also been adjusted, and the position of the trunk camera is also higher. The most notable are the two cameras installed in the car, which are located directly behind the driver's seat and seem to be able to observe the road conditions behind through the rear window.
