TapTechNews June 5th, according to TechPowerUp's report, Sabrent today displayed the performance data of the Apex X16 Rocket 5 Destroyer expansion card announced last November.
The Apex X16 Destroyer expansion card uses the PCIe 5.0 x16 interface, providing 8 M.2 slots on each side, and the demo version has 16 4-terabyte (around 3.64 TiB) Rocket 5 solid-state drives, achieving a total capacity of 64 terabytes (around 59.60 TiB).
This Apex X16 Rocket 5 Destroyer expansion card can achieve:
56 gigabytes per second (around 53.69 GiB/s) continuous read speed
54 gigabytes per second (around 52.74 GiB/s) continuous write speed
20 million IOPS for 4K random read
19 million IOPS for 4K random write
TapTechNews noted that Sabrent says the Apex X16 Rocket 5 Destroyer expansion card is about to open for pre-order.
