Oracle's Holdings in AmpereComputing and Its Future Prospects

According to the disclosed information, after adjusting for the accounting loss of the equity method, the total book value of Oracle's investment in Ampere is 1.5 billion US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 10.5 billion yuan).

Oracle also disclosed that it provided a convertible debt loan of 600 million US dollars to Ampere in its 2024 fiscal year, and in addition provided 400 million US dollars of debt in the previous fiscal year.

These debts will mature in June 2026, and at that time Oracle will have the right to choose to convert these investments into additional equity in the chip startup company.
