China Releases Lunar Landing Suit Naming Activity and Discloses Its Appearance

TapTechNews learned from the official introduction that as one of the core equipment for future manned lunar exploration missions, the lunar landing suit is mainly used for the life support and operation support of astronauts when performing extravehicular activities on the lunar surface. It can comprehensively protect against complex environments such as the vacuum, high and low temperatures, lunar dust, and radiation environment on the lunar surface. Astronauts in the suit can complete extravehicular activities such as walking, climbing, driving, and scientific research on the lunar surface.
The appearance design of the lunar landing suit draws inspiration from many Chinese elements. The upper body decorative belt design combines the elegance and elegance of the flying apsaras ribbon and the toughness and heaviness of traditional armor, reflecting the Chinese philosophy of combining hardness and softness; the leg decorative belt is designed into the shape of the tail flame of a rocket taking off, echoing the upper body and forming a momentum of soaring into the sky, reflecting the design concept of China's takeoff.
