TapTechNews September 28th news, the tech media GSMArena released a blog post yesterday (September 27th), reporting that Transsion's Infinix launched its first foldable phone ZeroFlip, available in two colors, black (RockBlack) and pink (BlossomGlow), with a price of 1,065,000 Naira (TapTechNews note: currently about $2,364.58).
Infinix ZeroFlip is equipped with a 6.9-inch main screen - LTPO AMOLED, with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.
The phone also has a 3.64-inch AMOLED external screen with a resolution of 1056x1066 pixels, using the same 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
The phone is equipped with a 50-million-pixel main camera (GN5) and a 50-million-pixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and there is also a 50-million-pixel selfie punch-hole camera inside.
All three cameras can shoot 4K video, and Infinix also seamlessly integrated the GoPro camera, allowing users to use the ZeroFlip's main screen as a viewfinder.
ZeroFlip weighs 195 grams and is 16 millimeters thick when folded and 7.6 millimeters when unfolded. It has a zero-gap hinge that allows the phone to close completely flat.
The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as standard. Software-wise, it's based on Android 14's XOS 14.5. Infinix promises to provide 2 Android version updates and should provide 3 years of security updates.
The battery capacity is 4720 mAh and supports 70W fast charging via cable.
