TapTechNews July 15th news, the ExpertBook P5 (P5405) 14-inch business notebook that debuted at Computex 2024 Taipei International Computer Show has now been launched on ASUS' official website, showing more detailed configuration information.
The ExpertBook P5 (P5405) is equipped with the Core Ultra 200V series mobile processor codenamed 'LunarLake', with an NPU computing power of over 45 TOPS and a total platform computing power of over 100 TOPS. Its AI performance is about three times that of the first-generation Core Ultra processor of 'MeteorLake'.
ASUS will provide this computer with functions such as AI file search, generative meeting records, adaptive screen brightness adjustment, AI microphone noise reduction and AI voiceprint, etc.
In addition, this computer can be equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR5X on-board memory and has two SSD hard drive slots, and supports Wi-Fi 7 wireless network.
TapTechNews noticed that the ASUS ExpertBook P5 notebook adopts an aluminum alloy body, meeting the MIL-STD 810H military standard, weighing 1.3 kilograms (about 2.87 pounds), and also supports 180° opening and closing, equipped with a 1.5-mm key travel keyboard.
In addition, ASUS also confirmed that the ExpertBook P5 (P5405) is equipped with a 14-inch 2.5K 144Hz matte screen and a commercial-grade secure BIOS that meets the NIST-155 standard.
The ASUS ExpertBook P5 (P5405) notebook will be launched in the second half of this year. On the left side, it is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, 10Gbps USB-A and 3.5mm audio interfaces; on the right side, it is equipped with a 10Gbps USB-A interface and an anti-theft lock hole.
