The transportation and application environment of edge artificial intelligence hardware products are usually harsh and prone to continuous vibrations. During these processes, the memory stick may accidentally fall out of the DIMM slot, affecting the operational safety and performance of the system.

In view of this, the Apacer team has developed the DRAM module rugged fixed strap, which adopts a design similar to a seat belt and can quickly, conveniently and effectively fix the DRAM module to the corresponding DIMM slot.

Apacer's DRAM module rugged fixed strap adopts a three-point fixed design, which has higher stability and wider compatibility than the traditional bilateral contact clamp.

In addition, this fixed strap is based on polysiloxane (a type of organosilicon resin), which has high elasticity and high flexibility, can withstand low temperature and high temperature of 200°C, and is completely insulated without the risk of PCB short circuit.

Apacer said that its DRAM module rugged fixed strap supports non-ECC UDIMM, ECC UDIMM and RDIMM memory sticks and has passed the MIL-STD-833K and MIL-STD-810G military-grade anti-vibration and anti-impact tests.
