TapTechNews on June 24th, according to sources @Olrak29 on platform X, AMD's shipping list in mid-May included several "AIPRO" notebook processors, which should all be based on the StrixPoint CPU.
These processors are respectively called "RYZEN 7 PRO AI 7 PRO" and "RYZEN 9 PRO AI 9 HX PRO" in the files. It seems that the official names when actually launched will be further adjusted based on this.
TapTechNews noted that the file mentioned this Ryzen 7 commercial processor is a 12-core design, indicating that its naming rule is somewhat different from the two consumer-grade StrixPoint processors that have been released:
The Ryzen AI 9365 processor adopts a 4+6 total of 10-core design, but still belongs to the "Ryzen 9" grade.
AMD's previous PRO series processors for the commercial market have generally continued the naming and core design of the consumer-grade version. This change is slightly strange.
However, considering that AMD has adjusted the naming scheme several times for the StrixPoint series processors internally, the appearance of the 12-core Ryzen 7 in the shipping list does not mean that the corresponding processor model will eventually enter the market with this name.
In addition to the mobile side, AMD has also not released the Ryzen PRO 9000 series desktop-side commercial processors, which are also expected to be launched later.
