The left and right rear girders and side wall reinforcement frames of this car are all designed with hot-formed steel, and the body adopts 1200 MPa high-strength steel cold stamping technology, and the coverage rate of high-strength steel for structural parts exceeds 82.5%.
In addition, the Wuling Xingguang S has energy-absorbing boxes as standard for the front and rear crash beams, using aluminum alloy material with a thickness of 2.5mm, which can absorb collision energy, reduce the harm to the occupants and the battery, and reduce the maintenance cost.
