Microsoft Edge Browser Hits Record High in Desktop Market Share in May 2024

TapTechNews June 3rd, Statcounter has released the browser market share data for May 2024. The report shows that the market share of Microsoft Edge browser on the desktop side has reached a historical high, breaking through 13% for the first time and reaching 13.13%.

Safari: 8.8% (+0.36%)

Firefox: 6.64% (-0.03%)

While on the mobile side, Chrome and Safari still dominate, with market shares reaching 65.94% and 23.47% respectively; Samsung Internet, Opera, UC Browser, and Firefox are also on the ranking list.
