TerraMaster Releases New Two-Bay NAS F2-424 with Advanced Features

TapTechNews May 25th news, TerraMaster of IronWolf has released the latest two-bay NAS product F2-424, equipped with the Celeron N95 quad-core processor and dual 2.5G network ports, priced at $379.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 2755 Chinese yuan).

The brand-new F2-424 adopts the Intel Celeron N95 4-core 4-thread processor, 8GB DDR5 memory, 2 2.5GbE network ports, 2 M.2 NVMe slots, and adds a USB Type-C interface and a USB Type-A interface, and supports link aggregation. The overall performance has increased by 40% compared to the previous generation product.

The application loading speed has increased by 90%.

The file and photo retrieval speed has increased by 40%.

The database response speed has increased by 50%.

The PHP response speed of the web page has significantly increased by 60%.

In addition, F2-424 is equipped with the TOS 5.1 operating system and can be smoothly upgraded to the TerraMaster TOS 6 operating system in the near future, providing functions such as centralized backup, snapshot, cloud synchronization, and supports RAID0/1/JBOD/Single and TRAID modes, with a running noise of 19 dB.

IronWolf has not yet announced the domestic price and release date of the new NAS product F2-424.

TapTechNews previously reported that the four-bay product F4-424 of the same series has been launched in the domestic market, and the domestic price starts at 2499 Chinese yuan.
