Gameloft's Asphalt New Game Preview

TapTechNews June 24 - The official YouTube channel of Gameloft's classic racing game Asphalt released the latest preview video last Friday, showcasing the new game - Asphalt: Legends Assemble - to be released on July 17.

In this preview, the official showcased a major feature of the new game - cross-platform battles, where players can compete against opponents with different terminals. Meanwhile, the UI interface of the game has been slightly adjusted compared to Asphalt 9 that came out in 2018, but the overall graphics and gameplay still follow the style of the previous works, and players can still experience the familiar nitro boost, and even barrel rolls, horizontal spirals and other'stunts'.

In March this year, Gameloft first officially announced the existence of this game. It is reportedly an expansion pack of Asphalt 9: Legends of Speed in 2018, marking the first time the series has landed on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms.

And in addition to the above platforms, the new version will also be launched on PS4 and PS5, providing a unified cross-platform experience, an upgraded graphics engine, a redesigned garage (able to inherit the game progress and the previously unlocked vehicles) and a redesigned user interface.

TapTechNews note: Asphalt 9: Legends of Speed has been available on the AppStore, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox and Switch platforms.
