The tech media mspoweruser opened the PhoneLink v.1.24052.124.0 version folder in WindowsApps and found relevant codes in the resources.pri file:

StartMenuCompanionSettingName

This means that after the user connects the phone and the PC, relevant information will be seen on the Companion panel of the Windows 11 start menu, and some interactive operations may be provided.

TapTechNews briefly introduces the Windows 11 start menu Companion panel, which will have a similar effect to the Live Tile after being enabled.

According to the demo screenshot, users can choose to place the Live Tile on the left or right side of the start menu, and can display information such as weather and stock prices. It is estimated that in the future, it can be further expanded to display information related to time, sports events, and courier progress.
