TapTechNews on June 20, according to the source @Leopeva64 who tweeted today that the latest Chrome browser version in the Canary channel has added a new experimental Flag, which can call GoogleLens to achieve a similar experience of the Android select and search feature.

The implementation Flag is named enableLensoverlay. After the user enables it, an icon of Search with GoogleLens will appear on the right side of the address bar. After clicking it, the part to be searched on the desktop will be highlighted, and the user can also click any object to conduct the search.

Google has currently launched the select and search feature on the Pixel 8 series and the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Users can draw a circle on the screen and search for the designated item or object within the circle. TapTechNews attaches the relevant demonstration video as follows:
