At 8:36 am, the test train departed from Huanghua South Station of the Shuohuang Railway and arrived smoothly at Dongying West Station after running for two and a half hours, running steadily throughout and accurately stopping at the designated position.

TapTechNews note: The Shuohuang Railway is an important railway line in China, connecting Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province and Huanghua City, Hebei Province, mainly used for coal transportation.

The tested train has 108 carriages, with a total weight of 10,800 tons and a total length of about 1.3 kilometers, and from key technologies to management and control models, all achieve independent controllability. After the batch promotion and application of driverless technology, it is expected that the average running speed of the train can be increased by 1.7 miles per hour, and the average traction energy consumption can be reduced by 2.9%.

It is worth noting that during this test, three technologies filled the domestic gaps in the relevant fields and achieved train driving unmanned and station management and control unmanned.
