New Hanzhong-Bazhong-Nanchong Railway Enters Operation Test Stage
TapTechNews on May 21st reported that the China State Railway Group announced today that the commissioning and testing of the Nanchong-Bazhong section of the newly-built Hanzhong-Bazhong-Nanchong Railway (referred to as the Bazhong-Nanchong High-Speed Railway) has been successfully completed, and it officially enters the operation test stage today.
The purpose of this operation test is to test the adaptability of each system of the high-speed railway line in normal and abnormal situations through projects such as fault simulation, emergency rescue drill, train operation diagram parameter testing, and operation test according to the diagram, and to verify whether the train operation organization method can meet the operation requirements.
According to public information, the Bazhong-Nanchong High-Speed Railway starts from the newly-built Bazhong East Station and passes through the Economic Development Zone, Bazhou District, and Enyang District in Bazhong City, and Yilong County, Nanbu County, and Peng'an County, Shunqing District in Nanchong City, and connects to the Nanchong North Station. The total length of the line is about 148 kilometers, and the designed speed of the main line is 250 kilometers per hour.
In this section, there are 6 stations in total, among which the Nanchong North Station is the connecting station, and the Peng'an West Station, Yilong Station, Ma'an Station, Bazhong West Station, and Bazhong East Station are newly-built intermediate stations.
According to the official introduction, the Bazhong-Nanchong High-Speed Railway is an important part of the new passenger transport passage in the southwest (Sichuan-Chongqing) region and the middle and northern regions such as Longdong, Shaanxi, and North China. The construction of this project is of great significance for improving the intercity railway network in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, accelerating the development of tourism resources along the line, and promoting the rapid economic development of the areas along the line.

At the same time, during the test period, the trains are running at high speed.
