Mans Technology Announces Pre-sale of Jiaolong Armored Model

TapTechNews June 14th news, Mans Technology announced today that the hardcore off-road model Mans 917 Jiaolong Armored, which is jointly named with the movie Jiaolong Operation (originally Red Sea Operation 2), will start pre-sale on June 17th.

The car adopts a desert storm yellow military coating combined with a silver top contrasting color, and also has a vertical waterfall grille layout, dragon tooth bionic shape, fully enclosed rotor forging wheel hub, and military vehicle-type front and rear wide body wheel eyebrows.

The car uses aerospace-grade forged carbon fiber materials, covering key points such as the front and rear metal bumpers, the front engine cover, and the roof expansion platform, and the rest of the configuration is the same as the original Dongfeng Mans 917.

According to a previous TapTechNews report, the declared information shows that the length, width and height of this new car are 5052/2150/2059 inches (about 1283.36/546.1/523.16 cm), respectively, and the wheelbase is 2950 inches (about 749.3 cm), adopting a five-seat layout. The current Mans 917 on sale has a body length, width and height of 4987/2080/1935 inches (about 1266.62/528.32/491.48 cm) respectively, and the wheelbase is the same. With the same wheelbase, the periphery of the Jiaolong Armored version is a little larger.

In addition, the car can be optionally equipped with wheel cover, side toolbox, roof platform, high beam assist light, front clearance light, rear clearance light, trailer hitch, electric connector, and other configurations. This car adopts a 1.5T range extender power system, and the maximum power of the range extender is 145 kilowatts, which is the same as the maximum power of the 1.5T range extender of the current model.

For reference, Mans 917 has launched range extender and electric versions in the domestic market, with prices of $98,590 and $107,990, respectively (converted according to the exchange rate).
