According to the environmental impact report of the pure electric passenger car project announced by Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., the new factory project for producing the Xiangjie S9 plans to produce 180,000 new energy passenger cars annually, and the sales volume is expected to total 720,000 vehicles within the life cycle (5 years).

The document shows that the project construction unit rents the original factory building of BAIC Foton multi-purpose vehicles and does not increase land use and building area; acquires the existing equipment required for production of the project, and at the same time adds new processes and environmental protection equipment to form the production capacity of 180,000 pure electric passenger cars annually.

The second car is positioned as a C+ level pure electric luxury station wagon (Wagon), maximally using the C71KB-F01 model, and the basic dimensions such as length, width, height / wheelbase remain basically the same;

The third product is positioned as a B+ level SUV, and no specific details are mentioned.

According to the introduction, the total investment of this project is $235,000,000, of which the environmental protection investment is about $620,000, accounting for about 2.64% of the total investment. This project is expected to start construction in July 2024 and be put into production in December 2024. This project adopts a two-shift system, working 8 hours per shift and working 250 days throughout the year.
