OpenAI Forms Strategic Partnership with Time Magazine

TapTechNews June 28th, local time on Thursday, Time magazine and OpenAI announced that the two companies have reached a multi-year content licensing agreement and strategic partnership. OpenAI can introduce the content of Time into products including ChatGPT.

Through this cooperation, OpenAI will be able to access the current and historical content in the massive archives of the past 101 years of Time magazine to enhance its products and respond to user queries - providing links to citations and original sources on Time.com.

As part of the agreement, Time magazine will be able to use OpenAI's technology to develop new products for its audience.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, in December last year, OpenAI's CEO Altman was rated as CEO of the Year by Time magazine. Altman once said that Chat-GPT and its subsequent version GPT-4 have had a revolutionary impact on OpenAI and even the whole world, and 2023 has also become a year when many people begin to take artificial intelligence seriously.

In the third 2023 list of the world's 100 most influential companies announced by Time magazine last June, two global covers were used, namely Kim Kardashian, the founder of Skims, and OpenAI CEO Altman.
